Where the rubber meets the road

Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church Men’s Ministry hosted their annual Bike Show on Saturday. The Men’s Ministry welcomed all bikers to the event, offering food, fellowship, giveaways, trophies and more.

In addition to a collection of two- and three-wheeled motorcycles and bicycles, faith, brotherhood, and service in Christ was on display at the event. A prayer booth and live worship music, face painting, pulled pork and hot dogs, drinks and desserts, a quilt raffle and a gun raffle added to the day, as did the Christian Motorcyclists Association, which had a large canopy set up.

Winners in the Junior Bike Show were Greyson M., first; Skeeter M., second; and Verity M., third.

The Alternative Bike winners were Johnny Boley, first; Darlene Wilson, second; and Kellie McWhorter, third.

Trophies in the general category went to Mark Aug, first; Tyler Caswell, second; and Rob Vestal, third.

Larry Krewson won the Ugly Bike award.

A Biker Sunday Service was held the following day, with all invited to worship together and pray for the riders and their journeys.
