SUPPLY GIVEAWAY

Licking Assembly of God Church will host a supply giveaway to families with school-age children from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on Friday, July 3, at Deer Lick Park.

VBS AT FBC

First Baptist Church of Licking will hold Vacation Bible School the week of July 6-10, from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Children from five years through 6th grade are invited to attend. This year’s theme is the 23rd Psalm.

42ND ANNUAL ROUTE 63 CAR & BIKE SHOW

The Route 63 Car & Bike Show will be held on Saturday, July 11, at Old City Park, Licking, with registration beginning at 8 a.m. For more information, call 352-428-2542 or 417-260-2627.

BOOM, PACK, GIVE

Operation Christmas Child will have a Boom, Pack, Give event from 10 a.m. to noon on Saturday, July 11, in First Baptist Church-Rolla Ministry Center.

VBS PREREGISTRATION POOL PARTY

Boone Creek Baptist Church will have a pre-registration Pool Party at the Licking pool, 6-8 p.m. on Saturday, July 11, for their VBS, which will be July 26-31.

WALTER PLANT CONCERT

Walter Plant will be in concert at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 15, at the Licking Bridge Builders, 114 Green Street in Licking. The concert is free and everyone is welcome. The drawing for a king size quilt raffle of a Phyllis Caton quilt will be held during the concert. Tickets are available now at Licking Bridge Builders.

OZARKS BERRYFEST QUILT & CRAFT AUCTION

A quilt and craft auction will be held at Macedonia Baptist Church, 3110 W Sunshine St., Springfield, Mo., at 10 a.m. on Saturday, July 18. Proceeds will fund the ministries of the Missouri Baptist Children’s Home. Auction items include quilts made in Licking, Mo., and can be previewed from 8 to 10 a.m.

LPHC BIKE SHOW

The Men’s Ministry at Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church will host a Bike Show from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, July 18, at their parking lot, 310 Walnut Street. All bikes welcome, trophies awarded, food and fun for the whole family. Drawings every 30 minutes. Biker Sunday Service will be held at 10:45 a.m. on Sunday, July 19.

LHS ALL CLASSES REUNION

The LHS All Classes Reunion will be held on Saturday, July 18, at Intercounty Electric Auditorium. Doors open at 11 a.m., with the opening ceremony/recognition at 12 p.m. All alumni are invited; admission is free. To RSVP or if you have questions, call or text 417-260-0936 or 573-578-4802.

OPEN ART SHOW

Entries may be submitted July 20th from 1-4 p.m. for an Open Art Show hosted by Isabella Loncosky and the Texas County Museum of Art & History. Under 18 and 18 and over age categories. Prizes for top three in each age category. Entry is free, all styles and media welcome. Artist reception on Tuesday, July 28, 5-7 p.m. Call 417-543-1738 for more information.

GOSPEL MUSIC BY WALTER PLANT

Walter Plant will perform at 6 p.m. on Sunday, July 26, at New Life Free Will Baptist Church in Licking. All are welcome to attend.

UNITED JOY WOMEN’S CONFERENCE

The Texas County Baptist Association will host a United Joy Women’s Conference at First Baptist Church of Houston on Saturday, September 26, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. A small breakfast and lunch are included. Register online at tcba.site.

MUSEUM/BOOK NOOK

The Museum of Art & History and Book Nook, in Licking, have opened for the 2026 season. Hours are Mondays and Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

GUN AND QUILT RAFFLE

The Fleet Reserve Association FRA Branch 364 has ongoing Gun and Quilt raffles to support college scholarships. For more information call David Herndon at 417-967-0661.

RECOVERY UNDERGROUND

Recovery Underground, a local support group, meets at 6 p.m. on Mondays, a Bible study at 6 p.m. on Thursdays, and Church at 6 p.m. on Saturdays, each week at 108 Main Street in Licking. For more information call Jake Carver at 573-889-7785.

GRIEF AND LOSS RECOVERY GROUP

ALCOHOLICS ANONYMOUS

Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday at the Licking United Methodist Church.

ADDICTION RECOVERY CLASS

A program to help you overcome any form of addiction, based on the doctrine of Jesus Christ. If you or a loved one are struggling, please come! Every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Hwy. 63 and Hwy. E, Houston.

AOG LEGACY SERVICE

The Licking Assembly of God invites all to attend their weekly Legacy Service, held from 1 – 2 p.m. every Wednesday. This non-denominational service was begun to provide an option for those who wish to attend a mid-week service held during daylight hours.

SHERRILL TOWNSHIP

Sherrill Township meets at 5:30 p.m. every other Thursday at the township shed located at 11875 South 137, in Licking. The next meeting is July 9.

LYNCH TOWNSHIP

Lynch Township’s meetings are the first Thursday of each month at 6 p.m., at the Lynch Township Shed, 14472 Boiling Springs Road.

DIABETES SUPPORT GROUP

The Phelps Health Diabetes Support Group meets the second Tuesday of each month, from 4 to 5 p.m., at the Phelps Health Delbert Day Cancer Institute, Shirley Day Conference Rooms C, D and E, 1060 W. 10th St., Rolla. Call 573-458-7314 for information.

BOONE TOWNSHIP MEETING

Boone Township meets the second Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m., at the Township Shed, 16245 Highway AF, Licking.

PARKINSON’S AND CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP

The Phelps Health Parkinson’s and Caregivers Support Group meets the third Tuesday of each month, from 2:30 to 4 p.m., at the Phelps Health Delbert Day Cancer Institute, Shirley Day Conference Room B, 1060 West 10th St., Rolla. Call 573-458-3007 for information.

OZARK MOUNTAIN AMATEUR RADIO CLUB

The Ozark Mountain Amateur Radio Club meets the third Saturday of each month, at noon at the Lone Star Annex, 114 W. Main St. in downtown Houston.
