INTERCOUNTY ELECTRIC COMMUNITY HEALTH FAIR

The first annual Community Health Fair will be held from 8 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 29, at Intercounty Electric Auditorium in Licking.

TOWN & COUNTRY CUSTOMER APPRECIATION

Town & Country Bank-Licking Branch will hold their 30th annual Customer Appreciation BBQ on Friday, May 29, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.

LICKING CHAMBER OF COMMERCE RODEO

The 41st Annual Licking Chamber of Commerce Rodeo will be Friday and Saturday, May 29 and 30, at 7 p.m. at the rodeo grounds. Rodeo Saturday events will be held throughout the day on May 30 in downtown Licking.

RAFFLE FUNDRAISER FOR LICKING RESIDENTIAL

Licking Residential Care is raffling a black 9mm Ruger pistol, new in case with two clips, to raise money for the residents’ activity fund. The raffle will be drawn on May 30, the final night of the rodeo. Tickets may be purchased at Licking Residential, 225 West Hwy 32, Licking, Monday-Friday, 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

STANLEY JONES SINGERS

The Stanley Jones Singers will perform at 6 p.m. on Sunday, May 31, at New Life Free Will Baptist Church in Licking. All are welcome to attend.

MISSOURI FREE FISHING DAYS

The annual statewide free fishing days will be June 6-7. Fishing licenses are not required this weekend, and daily trout tags are not needed at Montauk State Park.

LHS SUPER REUNION

The 2026 LHS Super Reunion will be held June 11-14 at the Resort at Boiling Springs and Canoe Rentals. DJ Friday night, Jeep/Side-by-Side Ride Saturday beginning at noon and KC Ritz Classic Rock Band Saturday at 6 p.m.

STREAM TEAM CLEANUP

The Upper Current River Stream Team Cleanup is from 9 a.m to 4 p.m. on Saturday, June 13, from the headwaters of the Current River to the end of Montauk State Park. Registration is 8 to 9 a.m. at Montauk Lodge.

MRFD OPEN HOUSE

The Montauk Rural Fire Department will host an Open House on Saturday, June 20, from 12 to 4 p.m. Meet first responders from the fire department, Dent County Sheriff’s Office, Air Evac, MSHP, and personnel from Salem Hospital ambulances. There will be bounce houses, games and prizes for kids, and free hot dogs, chips and drinks. All are welcome.

LINCOLN DAY

42ND ANNUAL ROUTE 63 CAR & BIKE SHOW

The Route 63 Car & Bike Show will be held on Saturday, July 11, at Old City Park, Licking, with registration beginning at 8 a.m. For more information, call 352-428-2542 or 417-260-2627.

LHS ALL CLASSES REUNION

The LHS All Classes Reunion will be held on Saturday, July 18, at Intercounty Electric Auditorium. Doors open at 11 a.m., with the opening ceremony/recognition at 12 p.m. All alumni are invited; admission is free. To RSVP or if you have questions, call or text 417-260-0936 or 573-578-4802.

MUSEUM/BOOK NOOK

The Museum of Art & History and Book Nook, in Licking, have opened for the 2026 season. Hours are Mondays and Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

GUN AND QUILT RAFFLE

The Fleet Reserve Association FRA Branch 364 has ongoing Gun and Quilt raffles to support college scholarships. For more information call David Herndon at 417-967-0661.

RECOVERY UNDERGROUND

Recovery Underground, a local support group, meets at 6 p.m. on Mondays, a Bible study at 6 p.m. on Thursdays, and Church at 6 p.m. on Saturdays, each week at 108 Main Street in Licking. For more information call Jake Carver at 573-889-7785.

GRIEF AND LOSS RECOVERY GROUP

Alcoholics Anonymous meets at 7:30 p.m. every Tuesday at the Licking United Methodist Church.

ADDICTION RECOVERY CLASS

A program to help you overcome any form of addiction, based on the doctrine of Jesus Christ. If you or a loved one are struggling, please come! Every Tuesday night at 7 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, Hwy. 63 and Hwy. E, Houston.

AOG LEGACY SERVICE

The Licking Assembly of God invites all to attend their weekly Legacy Service, held from 1 – 2 p.m. every Wednesday. This non-denominational service was begun to provide an option for those who wish to attend a mid-week service held during daylight hours.

QUEEN OF HEARTS

Weekly progressive jackpot, 5-7 p.m., every Wednesday, at the Resort at Boiling Springs, hosted by G-Ma Pam’s Rack Pack Cancer Charity, with 10% of the pot going to G-Ma Pam’s, and the pot split 50/50 between winner and another local charity.

SHERRILL TOWNSHIP

Sherrill Township meets at 5:30 p.m. every other Thursday at the township shed located at 11875 South 137, in Licking. The next meeting is May 28.

LYNCH TOWNSHIP

Lynch Township’s meetings are the first Thursday of each month at 6 p.m., at the Lynch Township Shed, 14472 Boiling Springs Road.

DIABETES SUPPORT GROUP

The Phelps Health Diabetes Support Group meets the second Tuesday of each month, from 4 to 5 p.m., at the Phelps Health Delbert Day Cancer Institute, Shirley Day Conference Rooms C, D and E, 1060 W. 10th St., Rolla. Call 573-458-7314 for information.

BOONE TOWNSHIP MEETING

Boone Township meets the second Thursday of the month at 5:30 p.m., at the Township Shed, 16245 Highway AF, Licking.

PARKINSON’S AND CAREGIVERS SUPPORT GROUP

The Phelps Health Parkinson’s and Caregivers Support Group meets the third Tuesday of each month, from 2:30 to 4 p.m., at the Phelps Health Delbert Day Cancer Institute, Shirley Day Conference Room B, 1060 West 10th St., Rolla. Call 573-458-3007 for information.

OZARK MOUNTAIN AMATEUR RADIO CLUB

The Ozark Mountain Amateur Radio Club meets the third Saturday of each month, at noon at the Lone Star Annex, 114 W. Main St. in downtown Houston.
