Obituary – Nick E. Marchbanks
Nick E. Marchbanks, passed away peacefully on March 19, 2026, in St. Louis, Missouri, at the age of 56. He was born on October 30, 1969, in Kennett, Missouri, to Jerry and Ann Marchbanks.
Nick’s passion for helping others led him to pursue a bachelor’s in social work at the University of Missouri.
Nick was an avid gardener and fisherman. He also enjoyed watching football, BBQ’s outside, and spending time with his family and friends. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Nick is preceded in death by his father, Jerry Gene Marchbanks; paternal grandparents, Curtis and Lucille Marchbanks; and maternal grandparents, Walter and Ava Lavely.
He is lovingly remembered by his mother, Ann Marchbanks, of Licking, Mo.; brother, Rick Marchbanks, of Clayton, Mo.; sister, Ava Saunders, of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; nieces, Anna (Jackson) Knouse, of Birmingham, Ala., Ericka (Seth) Stevens, of St. Peters, Mo., and Ally Saunders, of Cabo San Lucas, Mexico; and by my many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
A Celebration of Life gathering for Nick will take place Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 1 to 3 p.m. at Fox Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.foxfh.net. Arrangements are entrusted to Fox Funeral Home.
