Several of the art pieces receiving ribbons and/or best of show medals at the 2026 Frisco League Art Competition are shown here.
Art students at Licking High School and middle school art students exhibited their work in the hallways of the Sherman Hill Field House last week, with an Open House on Thursday, April 23, and with the exhibit continuing through Sunday afternoon’s Spring Concert.
Artwork utilizing many different mediums was included in the Art Show, including watercolors, scratch art, sculpture and pottery ceramics, fiber arts, black and white drawings, and many more. Artwork receiving ribbons or best of show medals at the 2026 Frisco League Art Competition were included in the show.
The creativity displayed by these students, including the middle school contributions, and the effort taken to make their artwork excel was inspiring. Mrs. Leah Sullins, High School Art Instructor, and Cherokee Knight, Elementary School Art Instructor, should also be credited with guiding their students to express their creativity through their artwork.
