Licking High School Tennis seniors were celebrated Monday afternoon by their families and Coach Faith Sullins prior to their match with Willow Springs. Four seniors are on this year’s Tennis team, and their coach expressed how much she has appreciated watching them grow into leaders on and off the court.
Caleb Owen was escorted by his mother, Angela Owen. Coach Sullins remarked on how inspiring and caring Caleb is.
Ryder Ingram was escorted by parents Justin and Patricia Ingram. Coach Sullins referred to him as the kindest person, with an uplifting spirit.
Josh Wade was escorted by his grandfather, Paul Wade. Josh has been number one on the tennis team last year and this year, and not only performs well under pressure, but his game improves in those moments.
Katelyn Mitchell was escorted by her mother, Melissa Mitchell. Katelyn makes everyone feel included, and takes care of others on the team, explained Coach Sullins.
These four student-athletes thanked their coach for all she has done for them and gifted her with artwork they created specifically for her.
