Obituary – Cynthia F. Million

Cynthia Faye (Rogers) Million was born November 9, 1960, to Clark Rogers and Wanda (King) Rogers, of Licking, Mo. She departed this life on April 1, 2026, at the age of 65 years. She was a woman of faith and spent time in her Bible and with God in prayer. Through her character she truly demonstrated attributes that the Apostle Paul called the fruits of the spirit. Mostly she was kind, gentle, and faithful. Even with the illness at the end of her life, she remained good and had patience and peace.
To her grandchildren she was Mema, and they love her gentle loving spirit beyond words. She loved and supported them all and truly valued the individual strength of character that she saw in each one.
The last few years of her life she spent a lot of time with her companion and friend, Steve Holaday. They spent time traveling and nurturing baby goats. She was so happy to spend time with him and loved all their fun filled adventures. She also enjoyed spending time with Steve’s daughter Miranda.
She had a deep love for hiking and the natural world, always eager to explore a new trail or revisit a favorite path. Whether hiking along quiet trails, taking in the beauty of the changing seasons, or simply breathing in the fresh air, she felt at home in nature.
Cindy was a valuable loyal employee. She started working for the Mexican Villa restaurants in 1982. She studied Accounting at Ozark Technical College and had an associate’s degree in that field. She was still employed by that Restaurant Group in their Accounts Payable at the time of her death. That’s a total of 44 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Clark and Wanda Rogers.
She is survived by her devoted daughters, Abbey Million and Lacey Daniels, and son-in-law Caleb Daniels. She was a cherished and devoted grandmother to eight grandchildren: Jordan and husband Zayn, Isabelle, Alexis, Makiah, Josh, Jamyya, Nova, and Riley. She is also survived by her siblings, Brenda Gorman, Katie Whitson and her husband, Todd, Bruce Rogers and wife, Marilyn, and Treva Satterfield and husband, Terry. Her legacy lives on through her beloved family. She is also survived by extended family members and dear friends who will continue to honor her memory.
A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. on Monday, April 13, 2026, at Walnut Lawn Funeral Home in Springfield, Missouri, with Pastor Sarah Fotopulos officiating. Rev. David Jett officiated at a graveside service held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, April 14, 2026, at Patterson Cemetery, Licking, Missouri.
