STORM SIREN TESTING
Testing of the Licking storm sirens is scheduled to take place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, April 16.
FISH FRY FUNDRAISER
A fish fry fundraiser will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 17, at the Fox Fire Station. Proceeds will benefit the Licking Christian Church youth.
CHOCOLATE TASTING
The Licking Bridge Builders is hosting a Chocolate Tasting Fundraiser from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 21. Join the fun at the Senior Center and judge a wide variety of chocolates. The event includes music and fun activities. Bring an entry and save 50% on admission.
WILDCAT TRAVEL CLUB 2028 PARENT MEETING

SENIOR CITIZEN’S TROUT FISHING TOURNEY
A senior citizen’s trout fishing tournament will be held at Montauk State Park from 7 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 23. It is open to men and women age 60 years or older.
LUMC INDOOR YARD AND BAKE SALE
The Annual Indoor Yard and Bake Sale will be held from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 25, at the Licking United Methodist Church Fellowship Hall, 208 S. Main St., Licking.
BUILDER BASH
Ozark Xpress with Bobby Ray and Miranda Bury will perform at The Resort at Boiling Springs on Saturday, April 25. Music will begin at 3 p.m. and last until 9 p.m. Proceeds from donations and a raffle will go to the Color Guard at the Salem American Legion.
HUTCHASON CEMETERY WORK DAY
A work day and business meeting will be held at Hutchason Cemetery on Saturday, May 2, at 9 a.m.
SPRING 2026 PLEIN AIR
The Spring 2026 Plein Air day will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, May 2, at Annunciation Orthodox Christian Church, 14092 Annunciation Hl, St James. All art mediums and all ages are welcome. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. after morning prayers, Watercolor Basics Class is at 9 a.m., Creative paintings plein air, lunch and framing finished artwork 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., and constructive feedback session from 4 to 5 p.m. Register by Monday, April 27, at annunciationoca.org/en-plein-air.
NSDAR MAY MEETING
The Noah Coleman Chapter, NSDAR, is scheduled to meet at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, May 9, at Colton’s in Rolla. The annual reports of Chapter Officers and Committee Chairs will be presented. Guests are always welcome.
MUSEUM/BOOK NOOK
The Museum of Art & History and Book Nook, in Licking, have opened for the 2026 season. Hours are Mondays and Tuesdays, 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The Licking Assembly of God invites all to attend their weekly Legacy Service, held from 1 – 2 p.m. every Wednesday. This non-denominational service was begun to provide an option for those who wish to attend a mid-week service held during daylight hours.
