Licking Archery competes in Vienna

The Junior High and High School Wildcat Archery Team competed on Saturday, February 28, at Vienna High School. Seven of the ten archers on the team shot their personal bests.
Jeffrey Alkire led the team with a score of 263. This was a personal best for him. He ranked 29th overall out of 105 male archers.
Drew Wiebe also scored a personal best with a 259. He ranked as the 34th male archer overall.
J’sei Leahy scored a 256, which placed him as 41st out of 105 males.
Malachi Smith finished with a score of 250, good enough for 48th rank overall.
Ronald Rife shot his personal best with a 240, and ranked 57th out of 105.
Jeremiah Alkire scored his personal best at 238. Autumn Wiebe also finished with a personal best of 232. Aiden Lewis shot for a personal best, and scored 222. Eli Stout was the final shooter to have a personal best, with a 218. Riley Hoggatt scored 189 at the meet.
The coaches are proud of the progress being made by this team, and of the hard work that the athletes continue to put into the sport.
