Obituary – Gloria J. Spurgeon

Gloria Jeanne Spurgeon, of Licking, passed away on February 19, 2025, at the age of 91.
She was born on January 1, 1935, in Pueblo, Colorado, to Cora and Richard Snow.
Gloria loved knitting and sewing. She had a passion for making things for people. Gloria also liked watching NASCAR, baseball, and had a special passion for animals, and was a member of Herculaneum Chapter #325 of the Eastern Star for 72 years.
She worked at Bethesda Dilworth, in St. Louis, as an LPN her entire career.
Gloria is survived by four children: Richard Spurgeon, of Salem, Pam (Chris) Ragan, of Licking, Lynn (Curt) Hobson, of Licking, Stan (Angela) Spurgeon, of Eminence, as well as 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; sisters Lauranna, Marguerite, Doris and Barbara; grandchildren Sara Jeane Reynolds and Robert (Bobby) Spurgeon; and her husband and lifelong friend Robert A Spurgeon.
