Obituary – Elizabeth “Liz” Hallinan

Elizabeth Ann Steiner was born March 23, 1964, to parents Ann and Arthur Steiner. She went to her Lord on August 28, 2025. She fought a long battle with cancer.

Liz married James (Jim) Hallinan on June 29, 1991. To this union were son Nathaniel Hallinan, of Austin, Texas (with grandchildren, Natalia, Nathaniel Jr, and Crue Hallinan), and son Correy Hallinan, of Charleston, South Carolina.

Liz was a loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She never met a stranger.

Liz leaves behind her husband, Jim; sons; brother David Steiner and sister-in-law Michelle; and sister-in-law Faye Koucher.

Jim and Liz lived in different places due to Jim being a Lt. Colonel in the Army. They were stationed in St. Louis, Ft. Leonard Wood, Chicago and Puerto Rico.

Liz worked in foreclosures and banking when younger. However, her greatest joy was her husband, children and grandchildren. She was a great pet mom to her dogs too. They would keep her company by being as close as possible.

Interment will be in Jefferson Barracks in St. Louis at a later date. Arrangements are entrusted to Fox Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.foxfh.net.
