Obituary – Glenna L. Taylor

Glenna Lou (Skiles) Taylor, age 82, of Licking, Mo., passed away Thursday, August 14, 2025. She was born July 6, 1943, in Licking, Mo., to Glen T. and Myrtle Skiles.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Alvin Taylor; her parents, Glen and Myrtle Skiles; sisters Ava (Darold) Thomas and Bonnie (Nylon) Bridgeman; and brother-in-law, Bill Pruitt.

Glenna is survived by her sons, Michael and wife, Kim, and Mark and wife, Kathy; grandchildren, Anthony and wife, Marla, Allen and wife, Rebecca, Aaron and wife, Tiffany, and Abbie Wheeler and husband, Dustin; great-grandchildren, Bryleigh, Glenna, Peyton, McKinzie, Wyatt, Arya, Brody, Tia, Teagen, Emiline, Keighlie, Kylynn, Luke and Lynnin; and sister, Mary Pruitt.

Glenna enjoyed being with her family, painting, fishing and gardening. She was a member of the New Life Free Will Baptist Church and had a strong conviction of her Christian faith. Glenna worked for many years at Licking Park Manor as Housekeeping Director.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, August 22, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Licking Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Licking Cemetery Maintenance Fund. Arrangements entrusted to Fox Funeral Home. Online condolences may be left at www.foxfh.net.
