All-Class Alumni Reunion held

Alumni of Licking High School gathered for an all-class reunion on Saturday at Intercounty Electric Auditorium in Licking.

An all-class reunion was held at Intercounty Electric Auditorium on Saturday. At least sixty-seven alumni and guests gathered to reminisce and renew acquaintances with old friends and classmates.
The event was organized by John and Denece Mitchell, Rhonda Mitchell-Turner, Linda Roberts, Darlene Reed, and other alumni. A debt of gratitude goes out to them and all others involved in setting up and cleanup after the event.
Billie Krewson, Class of 1985, was the Master of Ceremonies, and Herman Hall, Class of 1964, provided the music with his “1950’s at 70 Dance Party.” Brian Allgire had his Come Gid It food truck set up in the parking lot, and many enjoyed lunch together while listening to Herman’s live performance after the opening ceremony was complete and class photos were taken.
Melvalee Watson represented the earliest class in attendance, and was also the only alumni present from the 1940s, having graduated in 1949. The 1960s was the decade with the most representation, and the Class of 1964 could boast they had the most alumni in attendance. Numbers dropped significantly for the decades that followed, but those who did attend enjoyed catching up with former classmates and friends.
