Obituary – Cindy M. Sullins

 

Cindy Mae Sullins, age 56, passed away May 2, 2025, at home in Licking, Missouri, surrounded by loved ones. Cindy was born August 1, 1968, in St. Louis, Missouri, to Patricia and Ed Gault.

Cindy graduated from Johnston High School in Austin, Texas, where she was a member of the National Honor Society. She went on to work in food service and was later awarded “Excellence in Merchandising” for Price Chopper.

She married James Earl Sullins Jr. on November 11, 2011.

Cindy loved spending time with her grandbabies, her husband and family. She also enjoyed crocheting, fishing and other outdoor activities.

Cindy is preceded in death by her father, Ed Gault, and brother, Charles Wood.

She is survived by her loving husband, James Sullins Jr.; son, Christopher Peña and wife Suzie; mother, Patricia Gault; siblings, Sandra Wood and Rick Wood Jr; and two granddaughters, Chloe and Charli Peña.

A visitation for Cindy will take place Thursday, May 8, 2025, from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Licking Christian Church. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. at the Licking Christian Church with Mr. Rick Mosher officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital or the Licking Christian Church. Online condolences may be left at www.foxfh.net.
