Obituary – William W. Saylor

William Wesley Saylor, 78 of El Dorado, Ark., died October 1, 2024, at his residence.

Born October 5, 1945, in Licking, Mo., he was the son of George Washington Saylor and Oma Stockdil Saylor. In 1967, he married Eugenia Gayle Johnston until her passing in January of 2014. He was a truck driver for Great Lakes, and was of Assembly of God faith.

He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Gayle; sisters, Wilma Wade and Joana Evans. His survivors are his daughter, Robin Davis (Greg), of El Dorado; his grandchildren, Rhett Davis (Hannah), of El Dorado; Oriana Sandmann (Ryan), of Dallas, Texas; and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.

Visitation was at 10 a.m. on Monday, October 7, 2024, in the Chapel of Young’s Funeral Directors, 508 Champagnolle, El Dorado, Ark., and a Memorial service followed at 11 a.m.
