Obituary – Drake E. Parker

Drake Eldon Parker, age 54, lost his battle with cancer on September 8, 2024, in Huntsville, Mo. He was born May 5, 1970, in Belleville, Illinois, to David and Janet Parker.

Drake is preceded in death by his parents; brother, David Keith Parker (Peewee); grandparents, John and Virginia Rendleman, James and Lillian Parker; nephews, John Steven Corbitt III, and Talon Corbitt; mother and father-in-law, Patricia and Darrell Hood; and sister-in-law, Paula Parker.

He is survived by his loving wife, Emily Ernstine Parker; daughter, Malorie Kueper (Don); son, Dylan Parker (Katie); sisters, Lesa Wells (Fred), Laura Gant (Terry), and Launa Corbitt (Steve); brothers, Darrek Parker (Tammy), and Darin Parker (Elaine); sisters-in-law, Trina Stroder, Maxine Stevens (Tracy), Wally Potts, Glenda Hood, and Paula Martin (Freddy); brothers-in-law, Doyle Hood, and Kenny Hood (Tina); six grandchildren; nieces, nephews, and a host of other family and friends.

Drake cherished his time with his family. His wife, Emily, was the love of his life.

He enjoyed working on his farm, fishing and playing guitar. Drake loved spending time with his dogs, Ruger and Duke.

Drake will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A visitation for Drake will take place Friday, September 13, 2024, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Licking Pentecostal Holiness Church.
