Family fun at the Raymondville Carnival and Picnic

The annual Raymondville Carnival and Picnic was held Thursday through Saturday evening at the city park in Raymondville. Live music and dancing took place each night, along with bingo, craft, vendor and information booths, great food and treats, carnival games, and don’t forget the carnival rides! The event offered something for every generation, with multiple generations of families seen enjoying the carnival and picnic. This photo taken early Friday evening showed the early comers, with a steady increase in attendance as the evening progressed.

Garold McCoy and the South 63 Band provided live music Friday evening, entertaining dancers and those relaxing in their lawn chairs around the pavilion.
