FUNDRAISERS AT THE MILL
Yard sale fundraisers for Wildcat Travel Club and Licking Downtown will be held from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday, October 24, and 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 25, at the Licking Mill. The Licking Chapter of FFA will host a cookout fundraiser at the Mill from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, October 25.
K OF C FISH FRY
The Knights of Columbus will host a fish fry from 4-7 p.m. on Friday, October 24. The fish fry will be held at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, 222 State Hwy 32, Licking.
G-MA PAM’S SPOOKTACULAR 5K GLOW WALK/RUN
G-Ma Pam’s Spooktacular 5K Glow Walk/Run will be held at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, October 30, starting at the Licking High School parking lot. All proceeds go to G-Ma Pam’s Rack Pack. Register at Right Away Rent-to-Own, 101 S. Main St., Licking. Call 417-818-2488 for more information.
LIGHT THE NIGHT AND HAUNTED MILL
The Light the Night Festival and the Haunted Mill will be held in Licking on Friday, October 31.
CHRISTMAS IN OUR HOMETOWN
The Christmas in Our Hometown program will begin accepting applications on October 27-November 14. Applications may be submitted at Right Away Rent-To-Own and Payday Loan or at the Licking United Community Help Center. Those interested in adopting a family at Christmas or donating to the program should contact Kassi Ramsey at Right Away Rent-To-wn.
LICKING UMC FALL FESTIVAL
Licking United Methodist Church will host a Fall Festival from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, November 8. Join them for breakfast, lunch, a free quilt and fiber arts show, baked goods, jams & jellies, handmade crafts, antiques, Christmas gifts and live music.
NSDAR NOVEMBER MEETING
The Noah Coleman Chapter, NSDAR, is scheduled to meet at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 8, at Colton’s in Rolla. A Colonial Thanksgiving Jingo game will be the topic, by Mrs. Linda Mondy. Guests are always welcome.
CANCER BENEFIT
A Cancer Benefit will be held for Jack Daniels at 4 p.m. on November 8, at Fox Fire Station in Licking. A chili supper, raffle and auction will take place, with proceeds going directly to Jack and Sue to help with financial support as he goes through cancer treatments. Raffle tickets may be purchased ahead of the event at Corner Express convenience stores.
FALL TRIVIA NIGHT
A Fall Trivia Night fundraiser for the Pregnancy Resource Center of South Central Missouri will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, November 8, at Intercounty Electric Auditorium in Licking. Includes an auction, chili dinner and 50/50 raffle. Teams of 8-10 preferred. Pre-register at 417-967-1100.
OPERATION CHRISTMAS CHILD SHOEBOX DROPOFF

AOG LEGACY SERVICE
The Licking Assembly of God invites all to attend their weekly Legacy Service, held from 1 – 2 p.m. every Wednesday. This non-denominational service was begun to provide an option for those who wish to attend a mid-week service held during daylight hours.
