Cross Country runner medals at Willow Springs

The Licking Wildcat runners traveled to Willow Springs on Thursday, September 11. Senior runner Tyrone Merdian finished 15/135 runners and seventh in Class 3 with a time of 19:40 in the boys varsity race, earning a medal.

Also running in the boys varsity race were Ethan Stout, 54/135 (22:22), Dawsynn Moore, 60/135 (22:35), Jeffrey Alkire, 78/135 (23:28), Kierum O’Daniel, 91/135 (24:23:00). Caleb Barker was ineligible to compete.

Two varsity girls runners competed. Olivia Clayton finished 73/79 with a time of 35:29:00, and Karissa Malikowski was 78/79 with a time of 40:43:00.

Junior high girls runner Paislee Kinder ran a time of 14:39 and finished 38/67.

Two junior high boys runners competed. Ray Clayton finished 108/116 with a time of 17:11, and Brycen Baker was 114/116 with a time of 19:25.
