Mr. Billie Krewson’s group of students helped put up flags along Main Street and Highway 32, and are shown here putting up the large flag in front of the motel.
Licking High School students participated in community service projects in Licking and the surrounding area on Monday, May 5. Activities from landscaping to organizing archives, painting to placing flags, and much more were undertaken by groups of students.
Students, along with their advisory teachers, traveled on buses to Paddy Creek, Boiling Springs, the nursery lake, Licking Cemetery, Boone Creek Cemetery, Hickory Manor, the rodeo grounds and United Community Help Center. Others walked downtown to the post office, City Hall, and several businesses.
These youth should be proud of their efforts, which were appreciated by the community.
