Thursday afternoon was a busy one for Licking Cross Country Coach Kayla Lewis, Asst. Coach Ashley Ingram and Athletic Director Phillip Gambill. The Licking Invitational Cross Country Meet was held at Deer Lick Park and remained nearly on schedule, despite several buses of students who were attending the meet being delayed en route by a road closure and detour.
The Licking senior runners were honored before the races began. All three seniors are in their sixth year of running cross country.
Senior Logan Lane is the son of Vance and Charlene Lane. After high school, he plans to attend welding school.
