Licking R-VIII Elementary School School Supply list, 2024-2025
All students will need: backpack, cups, ear buds, tissues, disinfecting wipes. The PTO will not be able to provide school supplies for students this year.
Pre-School
1 box of 8 chunky crayons, 1 pkg. chunky markers (basic colors), 2 chunky pencils, 1 pair Fiskars blunt scissors for kids without safety cap, 1 5×8 pencil box, 1 bottle of white school glue, 1 backpack without wheels, 1 box of tissues, 1 complete change of clothes, Disinfecting Wipes are optional.
Kindergarten
1 pair Fiskars blunt scissors, 1 5×8 plastic school box, 2 boxes of 24 crayons, 10 glue sticks, 2 bottles of Elmer’s glue, headphones (NO ear buds), 1 plastic drinking cup w/lid & straw (that the child can open/close without assistance), 1 backpack without wheels, 1 change of clothes in a zip-lock bag to keep in backpack, Disinfecting Wipes, Kleenex.
1st Grade
1 pencil box, 3 glue sticks, 1 pair scissors, 2 boxes of crayons, 2 plastic folders w/pockets and brads, 1 backpack without wheels, 3 pkgs. #2 wooden pencils, 2 large pink erasers, 1 composition notebook, 1 water bottle with lid, 2 boxes of tissues, 1 change of clothes in a zip-lock bag to keep in backpack, 1 pack black dry erase markers, headphones. Optional: disinfecting wipes, Ziploc bags, markers, plastic cups, Green, Yellow, and Pink Highlighters
2nd Grade
1 box of crayons, 2 packs of glue sticks, 2 pkgs. of 24 pencils (no mechanical pencils), 1 pkg. of large erasers, 2 boxes of tissues, 1 small school box, 2 plastic folders w/pockets & brads, backpack without wheels, headphones (NOT earbuds), scissors, composition notebook or K-2 primary writing journal, pack of highlighters- (Green, Yellow, and Pink), Disinfecting Wipes are optional.
3rd Grade
2 boxes of 24 crayons, 2 pkgs. of 24 #2 pencils, 1 pkg. colored pencils, crayon box, 2 large erasers, 1 pkg. WIDE ruled paper (loose leaf), 2 plastic folders, 2 large boxes of Kleenex Tissues, 3 glue sticks, 1 pair of scissors, 1 composition notebook, 1 spiral notebook, Disinfecting Wipes, 1 bottle Elmers glue, 1 water bottle with lid, 1 backpack without wheels, pencil sharpener, pack of dry erase markers. Green, Yellow, and Pink Highlighters, earbuds.
4th Grade
2 boxes of tissues, 4 plastic folders with 3 ring holes (1-yellow, 1-green, 1-blue, 1-red), 2 pkgs. lead pencils, 2 pkgs. colored pencils, 1 pkg. large erasers, 1 pencil pouch with 3 ring holes, 2 spiral notebooks, scissors, 2 pkgs. glue sticks, 2 inch-3 ring binder, earbuds, Green, Yellow, and Pink Highlighters, Disinfecting Wipes are optional.
5th Grade
6 pocket folders (1 per class), 2 pkgs. of WIDE ruled notebook paper, 4 pkgs. of 24 wooden pencils, 1 pkg. big pink erasers, colored pencils, 1 large box of tissues, 1 pkg. glue sticks, earbuds, Green, Yellow, and Pink Highlighters, Disinfecting Wipes are optional.
6th Grade
6 pocket folders (1 per class), 2 pkgs. of WIDE ruled notebook paper, 4 pkgs. of 24 wooden pencils, 1 pkg. big pink erasers, colored pencils, 1 large box of tissues, 1 pkg. glue sticks, earbuds, Green, Yellow, and Pink Highlighters, Disinfecting Wipes are optional.

** All students will need to wear tennis shoes for PE
