MONTAUK HAPPENINGS
Flag Day will be celebrated on Friday, June 14.
A Stream Team Clean Up of the Upper Current River will take place from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. from the headwaters of the Current River to the end of Montauk State Park, on Saturday, June 15. Registration and sign up are from 8 to 9 a.m. at the Dorman L. Steelman Lodge.
VBS AT ABOUNDING HOPE
Abounding Hope Church will host Vacation Bible School from 6 – 8:30 p.m., June 17-21.
STORM SIREN TESTING
Testing of the Licking storm sirens is scheduled to take place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, June 20.
SIDE-BY-SIDE RIDE
Licking Bridge Builders will hold their Second Annual Side-By-Side Ride beginning at 9 a.m., on Saturday, June 22, starting from the Senior Center, for the approximately 35-mile, one-way ride. Call 618-781-6867 to sign up. Bring your own sack lunch.

BATES FAMILY REUNION
The James Bradford Bates Family Reunion will be held, with doors to open at 10 a.m., at the Fox Community Room in Licking on Saturday, June 29. Lunch will be noon; please bring a side dish.
QUILT RAFFLE AT LICKING RESIDENTIAL
A king size quilt w/ pillow shams, embroidered by LRC residents, set together by Melvalee Watson, quilted by Mary Sullins, will be raffled to raise money for the residents’ activities fund. Drawing on June 29, at Independence Day celebration. Tickets available at LRC.

SUMMER FOOD PROGRAM
A Summer Food Program will take place from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. at the Licking Assembly of God church lobby every Thursday through the summer. Open to all school age children on a first come-first serve basis. One pre-packed bag of food, per week, per child.
