MONTAUK HAPPENINGS
Old Mill Days will take place from 9 a.m. – 4 p.m. on Friday, May 10, and Saturday, May 11, at Montauk State Park. The celebration will include mill tours, old-time music and games, woodcarving, Dutch oven cooking, blacksmithing, living history performances and other Ozarkian crafted arts. Friday is Student’s Day, and Saturday hosts an Ozark Artisans Fair.
LHS ALL CLASS REUNION
The LHS All Class Reunion will be held at 12 p.m. on Saturday, May 11, at Intercounty Electric Auditorium. Doors open at 11 a.m. No-fee event, RSVP through Facebook event LHS All Classes Alumni or call or text 417-260-0936. Decade year classes will be honored.
FREE CANCER SURVIVORS DAY BREAKFAST
Phelps Health will celebrate National Cancer Survivors Day with a breakfast celebration for cancer survivors from 8 to 10 a.m. at Greentree Christian Church, 800 Greentree Road, Rolla, on Saturday, June 1. The Licking Friends of the Library will meet at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, May 15, at the Licking Library. New members are welcome.
STORM SIREN TESTING
Testing of the Licking storm sirens is scheduled to take place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 16.
END OF SCHOOL YEAR CARNIVAL
Fostering By Faith will host an End of School Year Carnival from 5 to 7 p.m. at 122 W. Walnut, Houston, on Thursday, May 16, for foster families. This free event will have games and events, prizes, food and raffles.
LICKING MILL CRAFT & TREASURE FEST

ARMED FORCES APPRECIATION DAY
Armed Forces Appreciation Day will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Intercounty Electric Auditorium on Saturday, May 18. There will be a Veteran’s Fair, picnic lunch, prizes, health checks, family assistance, Veteran’s Service Officers and Veteran’s agencies will be on site to assist veterans and their families. The LHS Class of 1970 Reunion will be held beginning at 12 p.m. at the Licking Old City Park on Saturday, May 18. Friends of the class of 1970 are also welcome. Bring a covered dish and beverages.
