Licking Math first in Frisco League

Licking math students traveled Monday to Dixon for the Frisco League Math Competition. Seventh through twelfth graders brought home ribbons in several categories, and the high school team won first place overall.

In the high-level Trigonometry and Logarithms category, Dominick Donley earned first place, Gold, and Ryleigh Barton took third place, Bronze. The Free-for-All Contest saw Trevor Richards getting Silver, second place, and Dawson Havens scoring Bronze, third place.

Tim Norris, Jordan Lewis and Nicole Paolella took second, third and fourth places in the Algebra 2 section. In Geometry, Joshawa Wade also earned a Bronze, third place, and Isaac Rinne finished 8th. Nolee Miller, Kylee Rinne and Gwen Campbell competed in the Algebra 1 category and finished second, third and eighth respectively.

Consumer/Technical Math students Uriah Smith, Taylor Gale and Braeden Sahr placed fifth, sixth and eighth, respectively. In eighth grade Algebra 1, Evan Crow finished eighth, Zoen Tillery ninth and Hadlee Davis tenth. Seventh grade math student Alex Beasley placed fourth.
