Wildcat Volleyball started on the road this year. After the Jamboree in Willard on August 26, the Licking girls headed to Mountain View-Liberty on Tuesday, September 2. The young team came up short, with the varsity losing 0-3 and the junior varsity faring no better, 0-2.
The first home game of the season was Thursday, September 4. The junior varsity girls won in two sets over Winona. Varsity continued to struggle to find consistency against a good Winona team, losing 0-3. Winona had already played seven games with no set losses prior to coming to Licking.
The Owensville Quad on Saturday saw the Varsity girls win a set against North County (1-2), and dropping two sets to Owensville. Cuba and West County scores were not posted.
