The Village of Raymondville will hold a regular monthly council meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, August 14, at the Raymondville Community Room, 207 E Hwy B, Raymondville.
BUTTERFLY RELEASE
Three Rivers Hospice in Licking will host the first annual Memorial Butterfly Release at 6 p.m. on Friday, August 15, at Licking’s Old City Park. Call 573-674-1127 for more information.
STORM SIREN TESTING
Testing of the Licking storm sirens is scheduled to take place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 21.
EDGAR PRAIRIE DAYS
Edgar Prairie Days 2025 will take place August 22-24. Little Mr. & Miss contest and Extreme Cowboy Race/Challenge is Friday; Saturday is Parade at 11 a.m., Old Time Games & Cornhole at fire department, Hee Haw at school at 3 p.m., Open Road Band at fire department at 7 p.m. BBQ and gospel singing at fire department begins at 11 a.m. Sunday.
GOSPEL SINGING
New Life Freewill Baptist Church will host The Mattingly Family in concert at 6 p.m. on Sunday, August 31. All are welcome to attend.
LICKING FALL FESTIVAL
Licking Downtown Inc. will host the Licking Fall Festival on Saturday, September 20, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the historic Licking Mill. Vendor spaces are available as well as booths in our business showcase. Listen to live music by Michael O’Connor at 10 a.m. and 1 p.m., enter your quilt in the quilt turning or join the hog calling contest, enjoy mill tours and storytelling, and meet your first responders. YOUNG COMMUNITY CENTER GUN RAFFLE
The Young Community Center (Historic Anutt School) in Anutt is having a dinner and gun raffle drawing on Saturday, September 20, with the meal from 5-7 p.m. and the drawing at 6:45 p.m. Proceeds will assist with maintenance of the historic building and support of community projects. AOG LEGACY SERVICE
The Licking Assembly of God invites all to attend their weekly Legacy Service, held from 1 – 2 p.m. every Wednesday. This non-denominational service was begun to provide an option for those who wish to attend a mid-week service held during daylight hours.

Lynch Township’s meetings are the first Thursday of each month at 6 p.m., at the Lynch Township Shed, 14472 Boiling Springs Road.
SONS OF THE AMERICAN LEGION
Sons of the American Legion (SAL) will meet the first Thursday of each month at the Licking VFW Hall. Meet and greet begins at 4 p.m., with the meeting from 6 – 7 p.m.

MONTHLY MOTORCYCLE CRUISE-IN
The MC Cruise-In at Sonic in Licking, with DJs “Lew & Rick” of “The Road Show DJ service” is back. The motorcycles will be rolling in, we have lots & lots of door prizes & most of all friendly people! T-shirts are available for purchase. Cruise-Ins are the last Thursday of each month through September, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Junction of Hwy. 63 & 32. The rain date is the following Thursday from that date.
