FUNDRAISING DINNER
The Edgar Springs Saddle Club is hosting a fundraising dinner for Robin Dukes at the Edgar Springs rodeo grounds from noon to 2 p.m. on Sunday, June 1. A pie auction begins at 1 p.m. Fried fish, potatoes, onions, slaw, baked beans, and cornbread are on the menu – chicken can be substituted for fish. POTLUCK FOR PRC
A potluck for families of the Pregancy Resource Center of South Central Missouri will be hosted at 1 p.m. on June 1, by St. John the Baptist Catholic Church, at 222 W Highway 32, Licking. ARC BLOOD DRIVE
An American Red Cross Blood Drive will be held from 2 to 6 p.m. on Monday, June 2, at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Licking. Call 1-800-RED CROSS or visit RedCrossBlood.org and enter: LICKING to schedule an appointment.
MONTAUK EVENTS
Missouri Free Fishing Days are June 7-8. Daily Trout Tags and Fishing licenses are NOT required for individuals fishing in Montauk State Park on these two days.
Stream Team Cleanup of Upper Current River will be Saturday, June 14, with registration and signup from 8-9 a.m. at the lodge. Cleanup runs from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Call 573-548-2225 for more information.
RIDE FOR LADONNA & BENEFIT AUCTION
A benefit ride and auction will be held on Saturday, June 7, at Crow Creek Bar & Grill. Registration for the ride begins at 11 a.m and line up begins at noon, leave time is 1 p.m. Any rig of choice may enter. Auction begins at 5 p.m. Donations are being accepted for the auction. Music entertainment and a benefit meal offered throughout the day. All money raised goes to LaDonna Duncan Vestal to help in her battle against cancer.
ROBBIE & ROBIN DUKES BENEFIT EVENT
A benefit event will be held for Robbie and Robin Dukes on June 7, at the Hunter Family Farm, 21475 State Route M, Newburg. A motorcycle Poker Run begins at 9 a.m., fish fry lunch is 11 a.m. – 12 p.m., Dessert Auction is at 1 p.m., live music with Stacy Harris from 2-3 p.m., and a DJ and open karaoke throughout the day. A Chili Cookoff is at 4 p.m. with a cash prize. Benefit Auction is at 5 p.m. ATV/UTV Poker Run starts at 6 p.m. There will also be a 50/50 drawing and gun raffle. Rain or shine, please bring lawn chairs. All proceeds go to the Dukes for medical expenses and special equipment. VBS AT FIRST BAPTIST EDGAR SPRINGS
First Baptist Church of Edgar Springs Vacation Bible School kickoff will be from 3 to 5 p.m. on Saturday, June 7, with registration and fun activities. VBS “Magnified” will be June 9-13 from 6 to 8 p.m.

LINCOLN DAY
The Texas County Republicans will host their annual Lincoln Day event at 5 p.m. on June 14 at the Licking High School gymnasium. Tickets can be purchased at Scott Material.
TEXAS COUNTY SHOP WITH A HERO GOLF TOURNAMENT
The annual Texas County Shop with a Hero Golf Tournament will be held on June 21, at the Houston Municipal Golf Course. Tee times for the Two-Man Scramble are 8 a.m. and 1 p.m. Entry includes lunch and entry into side games. Gun raffle drawing will be held the same day. The Licking Assembly of God invites all to attend their weekly Legacy Service, held from 1 – 2 p.m. every Wednesday. This non-denominational service was begun to provide an option for those who wish to attend a mid-week service held during daylight hours.

MONTHLY MOTORCYCLE CRUISE-IN
The MC Cruise-In at Sonic in Licking, with DJs “Lew & Rick” of “The Road Show DJ service” is back. The motorcycles will be rolling in, we have lots & lots of door prizes & most of all friendly people! T-shirts are available for purchase. Cruise-Ins are the last Thursday of each month through September, beginning at 6:30 p.m. at the Junction of Hwy. 63 & 32. The rain date is the following Thursday from that date.
