Wildcat Softball celebrates Senior Night with a win

Licking Wildcat Softball started last week with a win against Steelville on Monday. This was also their Senior Night, and five athletes were honored.
Seniors Allie Medlock, Zoey Dawson, Janelle Bates, Aubrey Gorman and Halee Clayton are enjoying their final season on the Wildcat Softball team, and they were able to celebrate their night with an 11-1 victory.

On Tuesday, the team saw less fortune and lost to Salem with a score of 10-15. Thursday evening they faced Potosi in their third consecutive home game, but the result was not in their favor, with a 17-26 loss.

The game at Ellington scheduled for Monday was postponed. Wildcat Softball was scheduled to return to action Tuesday evening in Plato, then plans to compete in the Salem Softball Classic Friday and Saturday.
The next home game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 29, against Bourbon, with a start time of 4 p.m.
