Wildcat Early Learning Center spreads Christmas cheer

The preschoolers from Wildcat Early Learning Center shared their Christmas spirit throughout Licking last Thursday morning as they sang Christmas carols at three locations. Their performances began at Licking Residential Care, then they traveled to Hickory Manor. They finished their Licking tour at the Senior Center, shown here, where they performed for the ladies who were preparing the day’s meal.

At Licking Residential Care, the preschoolers sang three songs. The residents were so inspired by their music that, as the children were donning their coats to leave, they began singing Christmas carols to the young performers. Wildcat Early Learning Center Director Teresa Clonts allowed the children to return to listen to the carols sung by the residents before they made their way to Hickory Manor.

Residents at Hickory Manor enjoyed a performance by the preschoolers from Wildcat Early Learning Center. Many of the residents and staff came to the dining room to hear the children sing. Afterward the children walked among the residents, wishing them a Merry Christmas.
