The Jazz Band set the tone, performing “All That Jazz” from the show “Chicago.”
The Cat’s Meow sang “Seasons of Love” from “Rent.”
This was followed by the Junior High Choir singing the classic selections “Hard Knock Life” from “Annie,” and “”Feed the Birds” from “Mary Poppins.”
Mrs. Link and accompanist Ms. Crystal Frailey (dressed as Elphaba and Glinda) performed “Popular” from “Wicked.”
The choir selections included “Little Shop of Horrors,” “Take a Chance on Me” (“Mamma Mia”), “Over the Rainbow” (“The Wizard of Oz”), “Sunrise, Sunset” (“Fiddler on the Roof”) and “You’ll Be Back” (“Hamilton”).
The concert band performed “Circle of Life” (“The Lion King”) and “You Can’t Stop the Beat” (“Hairspray”).

The high school choir performed several selections from Broadway shows.
Acting out story plots was essential to set up songs. Students performed a scene as Christine, Raoul and the Phantom to set up the performance by the band, sporting opera masks, of the “Phantom of the Opera” theme.
The men’s choir paid homage to “Beauty and the Beast” with the song “Gaston,” and Gaston, portrayed by Isaac Rinne, entertained the audience with his performance.
A winter concert is also planned, and the band will be performing in the Christmas parade on Saturday, December 7.
