Lady ‘Cats fall to Strafford

Licking lost to Strafford in three sets, 17-25, 25-27, 21-25. Jadyn Barnes and Rinne each had two aces; Wallace had 28 assists; Barnes, Dawson and Allie Hock had eight kills each; Rinne and Dawson had 11 digs and Wallace 10; and Mitchell had a kill block. The Junior Varsity and C teams were equally unsuccessful against Strafford. In Saturday’s Licking JV Tournament, the Licking JV placed fourth by one point; Ava, Salem, WIllow Springs, Sullivan, Summersville and West Plains also participated in the round robin tournament.
