All three Licking R-VIII fourth grade classes went on a field trip and took turns as they toured three Licking locations on Monday, May 13. Andrea Coffey’s class began at the Texas County Museum of Art & History, learning of the history and treasures contained within from Jan Rensch (back, right). Coffey is pictured in back, far left.

Doors were opened at the historic Licking Mill for Crystal Keller’s class. At their first stop of the morning they learned about the inside workings and history of an authentic old-time mill from Suzie Blackburn. Keller and Blackburn are pictured in the back row, from left.

Candice Shepherd (back, right) chaperoned her class as they visited local business My Little Cupcake. Owner Tammy Sullins (back, second from right) shared business ownership with the students.
