92nd Annual FFA Banquet

The Licking FFA Chapter held their 92nd Annual FFA Banquet Friday at the Sherman Hill Field House in Licking. A meal of pork loin, cheesy hashbrowns, baked beans and pasta salad was enjoyed by over 140 members and guests.

Thirty-three Greenhand FFA degrees were announced, including Blake Ammons, Zach Barker, Brandon Blake, Ella Bonine, Vanessa Clark, Zoey Dawson, Cameron Frost, Taylor Gale, Baylee Gettemeyer, Josie Gifford, Robbie James, Katie Joyner, Zach Liveoak, Nick Martin, Angel McGuire, Nolee Miller, Lena Parrish, Josh Rotherham, Jacob Smith, David Wogoman, Allie Cline, Branson Evans, Brady Ferguson, Adam Hagler, April Hamilton, Wesley Hardy, Audri Manson, Annie Melton, Lydia Robertson, Brae Sahr, Malachi Smith, Uriah Smith and Jordan Willard. Wesley Hardy received the Star Greenhand award.

Chapter FFA degrees were handed out to eleven members this year, with Howard Broadaway, Dayllyn Cooper, Dalton Drennen, Xander Elrod, Autumn Johnson, Jaxon Kuhn, Jordan Lewis, Adam Morgan, Colton Osborne, Gavin Steinmann and Peyton Goforth recognized. The Star Chapter Agribusiness award went to Jaxon Kuhn, and Star Chapter Farmer was Riley Edgar.

Senior Tessa Lucas offered a Senior Reflection, and retired her jacket to her mother at the end of the evening.

This year’s honorary members were Sharida Green, and Christina Boothe, both of whom were honored to have been chosen.

At the end of the evening, officers for the 2024-2025 year were inducted. The presidency will remain with JD Fox. Josie Gifford will be vice president, Angel McGuire secretary, Ashlee Umfleet treasurer, Audri Manson reporter, Zac Burch will continue as sentinel, Wesley Hardy will be assistant sentinel, and Cameron Teems remains in the office of chaplain.
