Licking Chamber of Commerce, Ed Green Realty, Friend Lumber Company, Friend Fitness Center, Rinne Tire Pros and Phoenix Pawn Shop showed their support and appreciation for Licking R-VIII teachers, administration and support staff as participants in the Community Teacher Support Network (CTSN). They made it possible to provide Amazon Gift Cards that could be used at the recipient’s discretion and were distributed by Coordinator Delanie Rinne at the Licking High School and Elementary School.
“These businesses appreciate the work that you do with kids and understand that you use your own resources to decorate classrooms and offices,” Rinne shared with the staff. “You provide materials for the students and go out of your way to make memorable connections with the kids in our community.”
CTSN is a group of parents and community members who work together to provide support and resources to local teachers, thereby fulfilling their mission: Supporting the well-being and success of teachers in our community.
“Alone, we can do so little; together, we can do so much,” Helen Keller.
Should you or your business wish to participate in the CTSN program by providing encouragement with a snack cart, lunch, funding, discounts, classroom resources or more, please contact Delanie at 573-889-7491.
