G-Ma Pam’s Spooktacular 5k Run

Members of G-Ma Pam’s Pack hosted a fundraiser for local cancer patients on Friday, October 30. All proceeds will stay in the area to help people fighting cancer.

During registration and the opening ceremonies, Kassi Ramsey recognized those who had won their battles against cancer. Survivors present at the walk included Krista Joyner, “Moose” Hartman, Lisa Harris and Paula Wilson.

Participants in the 5K could choose between a spooky route and a more relaxed walk or run through town. Members of Licking High School and other community members helped provide Halloween scares along the spooky route.

“We had a good turnout, and the weather was great!” said organizer Kassi Ramsey. She thanked the community for its support and announced that the event raised $4,800 to support local families battling cancer.
