Fire Department hosts Open House

Members of the Licking Rural Fire Department/City Fire Department, the Rural Fire Board, the Auxiliary, and Mayor Scott Ogden gathered for this photo at the Fire Department Open House on Saturday.
The Licking Fire Department hosted an Open House Saturday at the Fox Fire Station and Community Room. Information tables were set up for the Texas County Health Department, the Texas County Emergency Response Team, Air Evac helicopters and the Auxiliary. Rural fire dues could also be paid that day.
In addition, several activities for children were set up, including using a garden hose to put out a mock fire, and playing in the dump tank.
Hot dogs, chocolate chip cookies and snow cones were enjoyed by those attending.
For those who missed the opportunity to pay their fire dues in person, dues may still be dropped off in the drop box near the flag pole, in front of the fire station, or may be mailed to Licking Rural Fire Department, P.O. Box 207, Licking, MO 65542-0207.
