These are some of the beautifully crafted quilts that were created for the auction.

Several quilters and crafters in the Licking area combined their talents and resources to send quilts and other craft items to the 2026 Ozarks Berryfest Quilt and Craft Auction. At least 47 quilts and many craft items were created between Boone Creek Baptist Church and First Baptist Church of Licking to send to the auction. Proceeds from the auction fund the ministries of Missouri Baptist Children’s Home (MBCH).

The Friendly Quilters (thus named by Imogene Holland) were gathered at First Baptist Church on Monday morning, working together on a quilt, and they shared photos and information about the project. Imogene Holland, Jackie Wulff, Darlene Reed, Lisa Denbow, June Owens, Iretta Larbey, Carolyn Barnes, Vickie Nelson, Beth Chilton, Billie Decker and Nancy Campbell were among those participating in the project. A variety of handmade crafts and quilts are donated to MBCH from all over the state to be auctioned and sold at the festival.

The 2026 Ozarks Berryfest Quilt & Craft Auction will take place on Saturday, July 18, at Macedonia Baptist Church, 3110 W Sunshine Street, Springfield, Mo. Auction items can be previewed from 8 to 10 a.m. and the Quilt/Craft Auction will begin at 10 a.m. In addition to the auction, breakfast will be available from 8 a.m., and lunch from 10:30 a.m. Homemade cobblers, pies and ice cream are from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m., and woodworking and craft items will be sold from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.
